Andrew Mills arrived at 9i果冻制作厂in 1999 and since that time has taught a wide range of courses in Philosophy, Integrative Studies, Senior Year Experience, First Year Seminars, and Honors. His teaching interests are wide ranging–everything from logic to Socrates to Existentialism. He has a strong interest in the history of philosophy (especially the classical period in Greece and Rome and the early modern period in Europe), in environmental philosophy, and in the philosophy of happiness & well-being. He has taken 9i果冻制作厂students to Italy and Austria, and enjoys helping students see how philosophy is relevant to their lives today. His current research focuses on better methods for teaching philosophy and how to better communicate to students the value both of philosophy and of a liberal arts education.
