State Professional Licensure Disclosures

The 9i果冻制作厂 curriculum for programs customarily leading to licensure or certification have been designed to meet requirements in Ohio. This means coursework combined with experiential learning requirements work together to prepare students to apply for licensure exams and/or apply for licensure or certification in the State of Ohio. Students planning to pursue licensure or certification in a state other than Ohio must review state educational requirements for licensure and certification, as state licensure boards oversee the rules and regulations within their states. Contact information is provided in the sections below.

Effective July 1, 2020, and revised July 1, 2024, the U.S. Department of Education requires all higher education institutions who participate in Title IV federal financial aid programs to inform prospective and matriculated students of Otterbein鈥檚 determination of whether our programs meet requirements in the state where the student is located. It is important for students to understand their location will impact their ability to apply for licensure or certification at the conclusion of their program.

Students planning to pursue licensure or certification in a state other than Ohio should review state educational requirements for licensure and certification and state licensing board contact information in the sections provided below. Each department or program includes a list of states and an indication of the degree to which the 9i果冻制作厂program meets the other state’s requirements. Comments related to the determinations are included when appropriate. Options include the following:

  • Meets the educational requirements to apply for licensure or certification in the noted state.
  • Does not meet the educational requirements to apply for licensure or certification in the noted state.

State licensure and certification requirements are subject to change. Students should monitor state information provided by 9i果冻制作厂 while in their programs and verify with the appropriate state licensure or certification board upon program completion.

State Authorization

9i果冻制作厂 is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA) which allows us to provide distance learning programs and coursework to residents of states other than Ohio. Our NC-SARA membership is not sufficient to provide reciprocity or exemption from state professional licensing requirements. It is important to note that licensing and certification requirements in Ohio may not be recognized as sufficient to obtain a license or certificate in another state. For more information, visit our NC-SARA page.

Location

According to the 9i果冻制作厂Campus Life Handbook, all students not residing in theme houses, the Commons, or residence halls are required to notify the Student Affairs Office of their address and phone number one week prior to the first day of class autumn semester (or any time the student鈥檚 address or phone number changes). This information is retained in the University student information system and used with home information to determine when individualized professional licensure disclosures are needed. Students failing to comply with this 9i果冻制作厂regulation could be fined and/or face disciplinary action. The location for students attending in-person programs will be determined to be Ohio.

Last Updated: This information was updated by 9i果冻制作厂 as of June 28, 2024. If additional research yields a change regarding the status of education requirements meeting the licensure and/or certification requirements in U.S. states or territories, updates will be noted and dated.

See the lists below for licensure or certification information about programs in different states.
