GradSense

Curious about your total cost? How much you might make once you earn your graduate degree? Need some tips about negotiating your next job or evaluating a job offer. GradSense, a tool provided by the Council of Graduate Schools, can help answer all those questions.

Graduate Assistantships

9i果冻制作厂 offers nearly 25 graduate assistantships in several departments including academic affairs and athletics. Tasks vary by position. Graduate Assistants train and coach student athletes, manage projects with faculty and staff, update websites and create marketing materials, assist faculty with research and publications and complete various department administrative tasks. Student Research Fund

The Student Research Fund聽was established to provide small stipends for student research and other scholarly and creative endeavors.

Our Student Success & Career Development staff provide academic advising and can also help you with information about internships and jobs, as well as with resume writing and interviewing.

Computer Skills Training

The following is a listing of helpful courses offered through other organizations to assist you in computer use.

1. Westerville Public Library
   Introduction to Computers (using Computers and Mice), Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, Introduction to the Internet, Introduction to eMail (one-on-one with the librarian), Introduction to Word 2007, Introduction to Excel 2007. Classes are also offered for use of Kindle Fire, iPad, and any other tablet and eReaders for accessing the digital books available. Starting in April 2013, courses will be offered in Photoshop Elements. Contact the library 614-882-7277 ext. 5004 or check the website:聽聽and view the calendar for dates of courses. Courses are free.
2. Columbus Public Library
   Courses include: Introduction to Computers, Basic Internet, Introduction to Word 2010, and Learn about eReaders. Visit聽聽and under “Search for Events” choose “Technology Training” From there you will be able to view courses based on the date they are offered.
3. Ohio Health
   聽provides courses in computer basics, internet basics, Facebook, iPad use. Cost ranges from $45-$50 per course.

Academic Support Center

The Academic Support Center聽provides a variety of academic support services to help our students realize their educational and career goals. Tutoring and e-tutoring is available. We also provide academic support services to students with disabilities and work closely with the faculty to empower all students to be academically successful.

• Degree Evaluation Access
  The degree evaluation is THE tool for determining what courses to select to fulfill the requirements for a degree and to assure that nothing is overlooked. It displays (1) graduation requirements that have been met and (2) those that remain to be completed. Use it to monitor progress towards a degree from day one until program completion. It is the same software the Registrar’s office uses to perform final graduation check-out.
