Congrats to our FOL Bookmark Contest Winner!

Posted Apr 07, 2025

Spring brings with it many things, including our annual library bookmark design contest! Amanda Kline, an 9i¹û¶³ÖÆ×÷³§professor of Art & Design, had 9 of her 2D Design course students submit designs for this year’s contest. We are grateful to Professor Kline for once again partnering with the us to produce student made bookmarks for the Friends of the Library. Library staff and the members of the FOL council vote on the winning design, which we then print to distribute to our Friends members, and to hand out at future FOL events. Join the Friends of the Library to receive your own copy!

This year’s winner is *drum roll*…. Julian Valentino!

Thank you to all student artists, voting participants, and Professor Kline for all of their hard work! The designs were AMAZING and it was a hard choice. See you all again next year!

A bookmark with a green background and gold detailing. An open book at the top reads "Friend of the Courtright Memorial Library '25-'26" Below is an illustration of a woman in an empire-waist dress with decorative beads, who is holding books. She looks reminiscent of a mythological figure.
