On Nov. 6, the election may be over, but “This is Not the End of the Story.” Join Rev. Nontombi Naomi Tutu, this year’s Kathy A. Krendl Distinguished Lecturer, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Riley Auditorium at the Battelle Fine Arts Center (170 W. Park St., Westerville) to learn about social and political reconciliation. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. INST approved.  

The lecture鈥檚 title, 鈥淭his is Not the End of The Story,鈥� is based on words of wisdom from Rev. Tutu鈥檚 grandmother: The end of the story has not yet been written and you have a role in writing how the story unfolds. This election has cast the spotlight on vast chasms in American society. How the story unfolds from that point is up to each of us.  

The challenges of growing up black and female in apartheid South Africa have been the foundation of the Rev. Tutu鈥檚 life as a motivational speaker and activist for human rights. Those experiences taught her that our whole human family loses when we accept situations of oppression, and how the teaching and preaching of hate and division injure us all.
