9i果冻制作厂 is planning for a return to normal operations this fall semester, including mostly in-person classes and campus activities; traditional room set-ups in classrooms, the library, dining services, and other gathering spaces; normal housing policies; and regularly scheduled athletic seasons.
鈥淩ecent developments, including the COVID vaccine鈥檚 continued distribution and falling infection rates are reasons for real hope,鈥 said President John Comerford.聽鈥淚n the meantime, we remain committed to our core聽 protection measures聽鈥斅爄ncluding social distancing,聽wearing聽facial coverings, and frequently washing hands鈥 for spring聽semester.鈥澛
Students, faculty, and staff are eager to return to a lively and active campus environment, and University leaders will take responsible measures to achieve that goal.
Likewise, Otterbein鈥檚 partners at Franklin County Public Health have advised university officials to remain cautious this summer but have approved a plan to offer a mix of in-person, hybrid, and online courses and a limited camp/conference schedule and in-person 9i果冻制作厂summer events like Orientation with small groups and continued social distancing.
Although limited, these in-person summer activities and events will be an important step toward providing a traditional fall semester.
University leaders will also have a back-up plan should limitations need to continue. They will remain in close contact with public health partners and continue to adhere to state guidance.
“We will work with hopes for the best and will be prepared for other scenarios should situations warrant. We will continue to keep you informed,鈥 Comerford said.
Comerford also recognized the role of students in providing a safe and healthy campus environment this academic year.
鈥淚 want to express my gratitude for your commitment to the Cardinal Community throughout the uncertainties of the pandemic,” he said. 鈥淵our choices every day have made it possible for us to stay together on campus. Thanks to you, the light at the end of the tunnel gets brighter every day!
