A Message from your Reunion Committee

As your hosts for the Class of 鈥74 Golden Reunion, the Planning Committee and Alumni & Family Engagement staff have made every effort to provide a special weekend to gather with friends, reminisce and create new memories. It鈥檚 also a time to remember our past, and look forward to the future of students who will have their 50th reunion in 2074!

You will see many changes, including new buildings and some that are no longer here. Some changes to look for and consider:

  • The student population was just over 1,400 when our class of 326听graduated 鈥 and there are now about 3,000 students!
  • Towers Hall remains a focal point of the campus, and you will note that it welcomes people to 鈥9i果冻制作厂鈥 chiseled in the stone when it was built in 1871!
  • Many of our reunion programs will be held at The Point, on Collegeview Road, just west of Alum Creek. The point was formerly office and manufacturing space that 9i果冻制作厂acquired 10 years ago.听 This facility houses learning labs, meeting rooms, special events and seminars. A great addition to the campus!
  • Student housing now includes 鈥渟uite鈥 style residence halls (behind the campus center).
  • Westerville had 12,530 residents in 1970, and now has more than 38,000 with many new restaurants and businesses (and is no longer 鈥渄ry鈥!). But 鈥 Schneider鈥檚 continues to be the late night stop for 9i果冻制作厂students!

Below you will find a detailed schedule of reunion events as well as registration information. We have so much to celebrate! If you have any questions or concerns, or need any special accommodations, please email goldenreunion@otterbein.edu or call 614-823-1650.

Your class is also creating a special fund to commemorate your 50th reunion, details of which will be shared in early 2024. In the meantime, there several ways to contribute to the Class of 1974 Gift:

  • Return the enclosed reply card in any fundraising mailing
  • Visit www.otterbein.edu/give.听
